The Adventurous Life
Life is all about the adventure. If we don't take risks, we will never find out who we are. Helen Keller once said, "Life is either a darling adventure, or nothing at all." These past three years have been one big adventure of me. Thankfully, God has allowed me to experience many new adventures including:
1. Moving three times in one year!
As we all already know moving can be a exciting, but stressful at the same time! With my job, I went from the West Coast to the East Coast. It was one of the greatest experience I have had. I even accomplished a goal I never though I would; I drove from Pacific Coast to Atlantic Coast! My little Pontiac made it all by herself!
5. I got to rent my first place. It is a great experience finally living on your own. Finally, you learn the struggles that your parents went through affording to live in today's society.

2. Being in a Relationship
For the first time, I experienced being in a relationship. Being in a relationship was a wonderful experience. Although their are ups and downs to every relationship, it is a truly wonderful experience to love someone and to be loved back! Although the relationship didn't work out, I learned many great lessons.
1. If he doesn't introduce you to his parents within the first 9 months, don't waste your time. A guy who is serious about you is going to be excited about you meeting his parents. If he isn't, then he isn't serious about you!
2. Never settle for someone who calls their exes crazy! They aren't crazy.... He is the crazy one!
3. If he puts his friends or work before you, y'all are going to have problems! There should be a balance in a relationship. Although everyone needs friends, his friends should never come before you. If he isn't willing to make a sacrifice, he isn't worth your time!
4. Every relationship is going to have trials. You have to be able to communicate through them. If he isn't mature enough to do so, he isn't ready for a real relationship. There are two sides to every story, so we hear the other person out. It is hard communicating, but it makes relationships so much easier.
5. Never settle for a man that doesn't know God. Every relationship needs God in order to work.
"But at the beginning of creation God made them male and female. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his will and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one."
Mark 10:6-8
3. I have been given the opportunity to make many new friends. Not only do I have friends in the United States, but overseas as well. I am so thankful for all the lovely people in my life!
4. I had the experience of being a bridesmaid! We all love wedding, but we often we don't get to experience the trials before hand. Wedding are so much fun, but there are many things that must go into a wedding before it starts. The greatest part is that you get to meet new people! You get to share the experience of getting married with the Bride as she goes through all of the emotions of the happy day!
5. I got to rent my first place. It is a great experience finally living on your own. Finally, you learn the struggles that your parents went through affording to live in today's society.
Although there were many ups and downs to this past year, I don't regret one bit of it. I enjoy this ride we call life, even though there are good and bad things that happen to us every day. Thankfully, we have God on our side always watching over us!
