All About Me

Hello you all... My name is Meg. I live in sunny California right now, but getting ready to move again in the next couple of weeks to another state. I currently am in the Air Force. Due to the military, life tends to be a roller coaster ride which sometimes is good but other days are hard. I often think about what my life would be if I didn't chose the career field that I did. Often people my age take for granted the freedom that they have to decide to be who they want to be and to make decisions for themselves. I struggle with the decision I made to join the military as I miss seeing family members and friends, but most of all sometimes I miss the security of home. But the hardest thing of all is meeting such wonderful friends but constantly having to say goodbye.  Even though I often look back, I wouldn't change a thing in my life. God led me to join the military to have a greater relationship with him. I know for a fact that I would not be the person I am today without the choices that I made. I guess when life hands you lemons make lemonade... 

I started this blog to be able to write down all the wonderful and funny experiences that I have had in my short life so far. I also want to share my faith with others around me. I believe that we as Christians need to share the gospel with all to show God's love for everyone. I do have to say that when I call myself christian I do not mean I am perfect. I fall short of God's Glory everyday, but by his grace I know that I can be forgiven. I know with God I can do anything. I know he has plan for my life even when I feel lost...

I choose the name for my blog because I absolutely adore the saying from the movie "The Help". Often I find my self telling myself this when I feel overwhelmed with everyday life. I have many dreams for my future and pray to god every night that I can become the person he wants me to be....
