Be Fearless....

Failure doesn't hold us back rather its fear that makes us quit before we can even fail. I don't think failing is ever bad but I fear failure more than anything. It often hold me back from trying knew things as I fear that I will fail at it. But who cares if you fail. I mean all that really matters is that you tried, right? We all have failed at something or another in our life. I have let fear get in my way of my dreams. God tells us constantly not to fear.

"The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?"
Psalm 27:1

We must learn to be fearless as God will be with us no matter what! I struggle with being fearful everyday. I love being in control but when I lose control I feel lost and scared. The last few years I have had to learn to trust God's plan for me. He directed me to join the Air Force. He led my hand through it all through the good and the bad. You may look at my life, and say she does not have fearful bone in her body as very few women join the military. But we all have fear within us. Some let fear control their life while others don't as they learn to control there fear as change is not a bad thing. Change helps us grow strong. I mean if I never would have left my family and gone out in the world, I never would have grown so strong.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9

Some of you may think that being fearless means acting reckless. But being fearless means that you put all your trust in the Lord. Some days will be harder than others but God never gives us something if he doesn't feel that we are strong enough for it. Through the good and the bad, I want to put all my trust in the Lord. God has brought me through many trials but I am ready for the future. I might have fear but I am ready for what ever God bring my way. I know that with him I am strong enough for anything.

Often I hear people say, "How can you trust a God that bring so much suffering and pain?" Throughout history, we as humans have suffered, but there would be no compassion without suffering and pain. If we never suffered in our life, we would never feel that need for God in our life. We would become too proud to need God. God makes us suffer to help us become closure to him. God will make us suffer to test us also. Many people say they walk with God, but the minute things go wrong they curse God for their suffering. God never promised us life would be easy but he promised that he would always be with us. A great chapter in the bible which shows how God tests us is in Job. Job was a godly man who put all of his trust in the Lord. God tested Job one day by using the Devil. Job lost everything; his family, his land, his health, and etc. Job stayed true to God until he lost his health which is when he cursed God for all of his suffering. But in the end, Job put all the trust in God and followed God even though he had suffered more than anyone around him. Afterwards, God blessed him with great things because he stood by god through the good and bad.
