Donating....

I feel one of our greatest service to god is giving to the needy... 

"In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35

Giving is the best gift you will every receive. We often don't realize until we are in need. Even though I love giving, I am really careful to which organization I give to. There are many charities right now that too much of the donations are used to pay high salaries to CEO's which is wrong. When I give, I want the money to go to towards those who are in need not to someone's salary. I have found some great christian charities. Some great Charities to Look into:

1. Compassion International

This foundations goal is to provide children with food, shelter, and education. But they also focus on teaching children about god. It was one of ten top Charities with the Most Consecutive 4-Star Ratings.

2. National Christian Foundation

This foundation provides grants to christian organizations, ministries, churches, and individuals. It was ranked one of the ten best charitable organizations as 99 percent of the money goes towards grants. 

3. Matthew 25 Ministries

This foundation provides needy people with clothes, food, and etc that have been affected by disaster or poverty. They not only supply things to those in need in the US but to countries around the world. They were ranked one of the ten best charitable organizations. 

4. Homes for Troops

This foundation assist severely injured Veterans and their families by raising money, building materials and professional labor, and by coordinating the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently. This is highly ranked charitable foundation that relies heavily on private donations. 

I would recommend taking a look at all four of these organization before donating to a fund that does not use its donations correctly.
