Simplicity in Everyday Life....

Sometimes I wonder why we worry so much about things that don't matter? I know I do... We let money, things, and people rule our lives, but why? Sometimes I wonder what it would feel like to live day to day not worrying about tomorrow. Like all of us, I constantly worry about money. I don't know why but I never seem to have enough. Every time I save a bit I feel like I have another bill to pay or plane ticket. Not that I don't love going home but $800 for a plane ticket is quite ridiculous! I have never heard someone who is dying say that they wished they would have worked more or saved more money. I think the most important things in our lives are the people that we share it with and making the most of the time that we have. Don't get me wrong having money does help you live a more smoother life, but it doesn't make you happy.

From my experience with money, I have come to conclusion that you cannot buy happiness, people, or love. Some of the most important things in our life cannot be bought. For instance, we cannot buy a relationship with God. Only we can choose to have relationship as God loves us no matter what!

Tonight before I lay our heads to sleep, I will pray that everyone in the world will take a few moments out of their day to pray to thank god for the simple things in our life. We often forget that many people around the world do not have the things that we are allotted in the US. Many people around the world don't even have the necessities like food, water, and shelter that they need to survive. So thank god tonight for providing you with all you need as I know I will...
